Greater Goods

Our Greater Goods Thrift Store was established in 2006 as a natural progression of our perpetual fund-raising garage sales.  The brick and mortar building 114 Rogers Avenue has come to represent more than a steady stream of revenue for Rise – it has become the cornerstone of our Rise Community, bringing together clients, volunteers and donors.  As easily as you will find a must-have article of clothing or knick-knack, you will find friendly a conversation and camaraderie.  Drop-ins encouraged!

Greater Goods Thrift Stores are part of the bedrock of our community, and when they thrive they create real jobs, a cohesive town and strong economy.

Greater Goods strives to serve the local community as a gathering site that provides affordable recycled clothing and household items with the net income from the enterprise creating a rigorous feedback loop into Rise programs and services.

Volunteer at Greater Goods

Looking for a fun way to get involved? We need you more than ever! Now that we’ve extended our hours of operation, we need volunteers to help keep the store running smoothly. We especially need individuals or groups to help sort and tag donated clothing. Retirees, youth and service groups are welcome. We are also looking for volunteer leaders to help recruit and train new volunteers. Donating your time and energy can make a real difference in our community! Email, call us at (609) 443-4464 or submit a Volunteer Application.
